1976 LICENSE AGREEMENT
Noboru Tsuburaya granted Sompote Saengduenchai (now UM Corporation) the commercial rights to the first six Ultra series outside of Japan for an indefinite period
CERTIFICATE OF LICENSING
UM appointed TIGA Entertainment (Hong Kong) as the sole agent with exclusive rights and license to use the Ultraman’s trademark and copyrights worldwide except Japan.

Tokyo District Court
The court has acknowledged that the Tokyo district court and the high court have vilified that Sompote Saengduenchai (now UM Corporation) possesses the exclusive exploitation rights. The court has stated that the contract was valid, according to evidence and depositions, and had binding effect. Additionally the Tokyo Supreme court has dismissed Tsuburaya’s appeal against the Tokyo high court’s decision, hence the judgment becomes final.

People’s Supreme Court of Guangdong County, Sanzhong
The court found that the 1976 Agreement is valid. The Supreme Court of China dismissed Tsuburaya’s appeal in 2013, finalizing the verdict and concluding that the 1976 Agreement is authentic. The verdict gives Sompote (now UM Corporation) the exclusive commercial rights in China.
